This study aims to identify and analyze the role of emotions in the distinct phases of the migratory projects of three sisters who left San Andrés Tlalamac, Edo de México, for the state of Florida in the USA. The phases include the: planning, departure, journey, arrival, and integration in the place of destination. Employing methodological proposals of the anthropology and sociology of emotions, as well as the biographical method and life stories, the study shows how central emotions are, crosscutting the migratory and personal life projects of the three women.
